Tech Execs - Share Your Insights!

There has never been a more exciting yet demanding time to be a CIO, CTO, or technology executive.

Quantitative research underscores the shifts in the landscape, revealing key trends that highlight both challenges and opportunities in the industry.

Recent data indicates that 72% of technology executives are now engaging with their peer network for real-time advice, bypassing traditional guidance channels. This shift suggests a growing need for immediate, practical insights over conventional, structured advice.

Furthermore, a staggering 97% of employees and executives have identified misalignment within their organisations. This lack of alignment often leads to suboptimal outcomes across projects, roles, and tasks, underscoring the necessity for clearer strategic direction and communication.

Measurement of impact remains a significant hurdle for many CIOs. In fact, 55% struggle to effectively measure their organisation’s contributions, making it difficult to demonstrate the value they bring to the business. Without clear metrics, justifying investment and strategic decisions becomes increasingly complex.

Additionally, 48% of technology executives have encountered issues stemming from poorly defined roles. Ambiguity in responsibilities not only creates confusion but also hampers efficiency and progress within organisations.

In response to these pressing challenges, I'm conducting a qualitative research study aimed at uncovering what is truly working well for technology executives.
